The Knight of Roses - Oil Painting

In this painting, we see a young lady whose delicate face is bruised and wounded, clear signs of a recent fight. Adorned in an ornate armor that seems too large for her fragile figure, her vulnerability becomes evident. The wound on her heart reminds us that even the strongest defenses can be broken.

When creating this piece, I was inspired by the style of artist Benjamin Lacombe, whom I deeply admire. I also wanted to pay a small tribute to the actress Elle Fanning, whose figure inspired the portrait of this young lady.
